The intention of the festival is:
Engage students within SEN schools across Dorset in dance, providing an accessible, exciting, and creative outlet for self-expression. resulting in a collaborative dance film that captures and shares their achievements.
Build confidence and offer new experiences, championing the importance of inclusive representation for young people and their families.
Provide ongoing professional development for teachers, equipping them with practical tools and strategies to effectively deliver and integrate dance within SEN education.
Encourage the continuation of dance activities beyond the project, supporting schools to develop sustainable, long-term approaches to maintaining and expanding dance opportunities for their students.
