This year, we are honoured to welcome Margaret Simmons-Bird, MBE, Chair of The Leaf Trust, who will deliver a keynote address on “Strategic Leadership of Trust Growth.” Margaret’s extensive experience and strategic insight will provide an inspiring perspective on trust development and leadership, offering invaluable guidance for those involved in governance.
Margaret is currently an independent Education Consultant, having previously held the position of Director of Education and Head of Education Improvement at Bath and North East Somerset Council (BANES). She was also the Strategic Lead for Primary Education within South Gloucestershire Council and was an accredited Ofsted Inspector. Margaret is an experienced governor and chair of trustees for multi-academy trusts.
