Course Information
The workshop will support all primary school teachers and support staff with the delivery of dance. The workshop will provide participants with the knowledge and confidence to lead dance within your own schools. Throughout the day there will be both practical and theoretical sections to allow participants to engage and enjoy the physicality of dance whilst reflecting and underpinning learning intentions. The workshop intends to inspire teachers and support staff to see the creativity, fun and expressiveness that dance can provide learners of all abilities.
- Support all primary school teachers to feel confident and enjoy teaching Dance lessons.
- Explore units of dance that fit within the PE curriculum, as well as linking and merging dance into every lesson you teach!
- Unpick what makes a great Dance lesson for all types of learners.
